Jade Mountain: choose the sanctuary, not just the name.

Compare Jade Mountain's Sky and pool sanctuaries, guest age limit, meal plans and airport transfers to decide whether the stay fits your trip.

Jade Mountain is a strong fit for guests aged 16 and over who want the room itself to be the experience. Its open-wall design and Piton views are central to the appeal. If a private infinity pool is essential, do not book a Sky suite.

Which Jade Mountain room has a private pool?

The resort lists 29 individually designed sanctuaries: 24 with private infinity pools and five Sky suites without one. Categories reflect room and pool size, but layouts vary within a category.

Will you enjoy an open-wall room?

Most sanctuaries are designed with the fourth wall absent, connecting the living space to the view. This is a different experience from a conventional enclosed hotel room. The accommodation page identifies one Sky unit with windows and air conditioning that can be requested; a request is not a guaranteed allocation.

Ask about cooling, privacy, the bathroom layout and the route to the beach for your proposed room. The resort has no televisions in the sanctuaries. If enclosed, air-conditioned sleeping space is non-negotiable, get written confirmation of the exact unit before booking.

Is Jade Mountain worth the money?

Our view: it is easiest to justify when you want to spend substantial time in your sanctuary and value the architecture, private pool and setting. It is harder to justify as a base for long days away from the resort, or if you mainly want immediate beach access.

A published starting rate is not your trip price. Request the same sanctuary category with each meal-plan option, including taxes, service charges, applicable levies and transfers. The official pages checked contain differing extra-person amounts, so ask for a written third-guest total rather than relying on a copied headline price.

Is Jade Mountain all-inclusive?

It can be booked with an optional all-inclusive plan, but not every rate is all-inclusive. The resort also lists room-only, breakfast-and-dinner and full-board options. Selected dishes can carry supplements, and festive dates have minimum meal-plan requirements.

Ask which restaurants, drinks and extras your quote covers, and whether your package includes airport transfers. Do not assume a room rate includes everything described elsewhere on the resort website.

Airport transfers, beach access and age policy

The resort gives estimated road-transfer times of 60 minutes from UVF and 75 minutes from SLU. Helicopter arrivals are daylight-only, subject to availability and conditions; luggage may travel separately.

Guests can use the beaches and amenities of sister resort Anse Chastanet. Jade Mountain is elevated above the beach rather than a beachfront-room resort. Guests under 16 are not accepted. Before paying, confirm your room allocation, transfer plan and cancellation terms together.
