Talking about Pakistan in a single article of few words would be injustice to this land as this country is full of beautiful people and beautiful lands which needs to be discovered by people of great taste or i would say tourism freaks.

There are lots of magnificent landscapes, hidden villages and much more to offer here . From beautiful mosques to ravishing rivers and fortresses, amazing people and delicious food would definitely drag you back to Pakistan whenever you think of travelling again.

Here I’m going to tell you about some very few places which will steal your heart away and will make you fall in love with this country and its beautiful people for sure.

Hunza Valley

You might have heard the name while going through the travelling spots in Pakistan but let me tell you one thing, it’s a big district with lots of villages, valleys and beautiful places that are worth visiting like Eagle’s nest, Passu glacier, Attabad lake, Borith lake, Khunjarab pass, satrangi lake and many more.

If you want to enjoy the beautiful sunset, do visit Eagle’s nest.

Attabad Lake, though this lake came out of the tragedy but still its beauty is mind blowing and fascinating. This lake was a result of a massive landslide in 2010 but the beautiful blue color of this lake makes it feel like an unreal and untouched beauty of the land.

Lahore

Lahore, a treasure of beautiful places is a must while you are on a trip to Pakistan. Historical fortresses, mosques, havelis and hidden tombs are a big yess. If you are a foodie, then this place is a heaven for you.

Pakistan has lots of cultures having its own specialities. Street foods here are so mouth watering that you have to cheat a few calories during your trip.

The street food here in Lahore is magnifico and the lassi (yogurt shake) will make it even more

Mouth watering.

The Badshahi mosque, Wazir khan mosque, Lahore fort, Wagah border and dozens and dozens of places here have a true meaning of culture.

Fairy Meadows

Fairy meadows is a total stunner and breathtaking as it offers a magnificent view of Nanga Parbat and World’s 9th highest mountain range. It is located in Gilgit Baltistan with an altitude of 3300m above the sea level.

It has a challenging road trip that starts with a jeep ride through the roads that are actually very scary but the beauty of the view makes it worth trying.

Fairy meadows is locally known as Jaugth and is one of the highly visited places for tourists. The tourism season here starts in april for about 6 months.

Deosai Plains National Park

Deosai plains is situated in Gilgit Baltistan and is located about 30km from Skardu. It’s the second highest altitude place in the world and is impossible to visit in winters. You can see its beauty during summer.

Fascinating snow covered mountain peaks, beautiful green plains and meadows and sapphire blue lakes makes it a memorable visit for tourists. Don’t forget to visit the deosai plains in National park, I am sure you are going to regret if you skipped this part of heaven during your visit to Pakistan.

Khunjerab Pass

This beautiful high peak mountain pass is the connection between Pakistan and China with beautiful paved border between the two.

Lush green fields and high peaked mountains makes it an eye catching place for people who are fond of lovely trips between the green fields.

It’s better to visit this place in your own vehicle rather than renting there as it might get high priced during the tourism season.

Swat Valley

Swat valley has a rough past but trust me it has a lovely present and future. It is situated in Khyber pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan and is famous for the beautiful lakes, rivers and lovely green forests and plains. People of swat are famous for their hospitality and warm welcome to visitors.

The markets in swat still have the same old cultural touch that makes it an attractive place for visitors. You can see beautiful stoles and shawls and lovely cultural clothes in swat which you can hardly find anywhere else in Pakistan.

Swat Valley

Kalam Valley

Kalam valley is the highest place in swat and is considered to be the beauty of swat. It is located around 100km from mingora and is all surrounded by emerald green mountains, lovely forests and beautiful blue lakes.

Kalam is worth visiting in summers as the temperature there is very pleasant. The  coldest temperature drop can be seen in january and february.

One of the most visited places in Kalam valley is Ushu, which is situated at the height of 2300m and is only accessible in jeeps though non metallic roads.

There are several lovely lakes in kalam valley, amongst them Mahodand lake and Kundol lake are the famous ones as they are easily accessible. Mahodand lake is located at about 40km from kalam and is very pleasant to the eyes. Everyone visiting kalam must go there to enjoy the beautiful scenic view of Mahodand lake.

Peshawar

One of the most historical cities of Pakistan, Peshawar is like the heart of Pakistan as it is the oldest city of South Asia. People here are very friendly and helping, you can totally rely on them when it comes to hospitality.

Peshawar has some very old buildings, forts and mosques that makes it a hub for antiques and was the most important trading centre of Mughal era.

When it comes to food, you don’t wanna miss a single food market here. Namak mandi is one of the most popular here and lamb is the speciality of this food street. Chappal kebabs and lamb karahi are unbearably irresistible.

Yarkhun Valley

It is located in Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and is one of my favourite places to visit. Comparatively it is unheard of the beautiful tourism spots in Pakistan and is not visited by most of the people, maybe that’s the reason that i kept attracting to its raw beauty. Most of the roads are muddy underdeveloped roads but if you have your own vehicle then it won’t be a bothering trip.

The beautiful scenery on the way to Yarkhun valley is mind blowing. Gazin is worth seeing if you make it to Yarkhun valley where you can also see the Thoi pass, connecting upper Chitral to Yasin valley. You will enjoy the beautiful kush mountains there.

Yarkhun Valley

Nathia Gali

It is one of the most famous tourist spots in Pakistan. You can see a bunch of people there enjoying the summers as it’s the favorite hill station of most of the people in KPK.

Its beautiful lush mountains and amazing road trip to Nathia gali is super awesome when you want to run away from the hot summer days on the ground. Its temperature rises to 25C in summers and mostly it stays cool during the summers and snowy in winters.

If you are a hiker then you would love to go there. Its hiking tracks are mostly surrounded by pine, oak walnut and oak maple trees and are super cool and pleasant even during the hot summer day.

It is not as populated as Murree which is only one hour away from Nathai Gali, maybe that is the reason that it’s more peaceful and relaxing to enjoy your vacation there.

Kalash Valley

Kalash valley is 2 to 3 hours away from Chitral city and is a home to Kalash people having their own customs and religion unlike the rest of Pakistan. Mostly you won’t see huge differences while visiting different cities of Pakistan but in Kalash valley you will see different people with their own ways of living and even dressing. Women wear long dresses with bright colors and head wear.

Kalash valley is not only popular amongst Pakistani tourists but is one of the favourites amongst International tourists as well.
