It cost over 200,000 dollars to build in the 1800’s, so the worth now would be incredible. There are three floors of the mansion to tour. It had 66 original rooms, ten bathrooms, 14 fireplaces and is 20,019 square feet. 12 servants kept the place up and running, and they stayed on site. The architecture of the art museum is as interesting as the art itself. The museum has an amazing and diverse collection, and the displays and exhibits are well done and interesting. Favorites are the button sculpture, the infinity room, the Bradley collection, and the war memorial section. Many eras and time periods are covered as well, and there is something for all ages to enjoy. The museum is located on the waterfront of Lake Michigan, and it has lovely views of the lake. The café is delicious and has good service, and there is a coffee shop that serves great espresso. Basilica of St. Josaphat
The basilica was modeled after St. Peter’s church in Rome and is stunning. The church is huge, and a large dome stretches towards the sky. The Milwaukee Zoo is considered one of the best zoos in the country. There is a petting zoo for your kids, and the grounds are beautiful as well as clean.
