September 23rd is known to be this year’s first day of autumn. And although many people are already weeping for summer, begging it to come back as soon as possible, there are a lot of reasons to enjoy the other seasons as well.
Now, as any other season has its qualities, the perks of having autumn arriving at your town are the more pleasant temperatures and the beauty of nature magically transforming its colors.
Even though you love summer, those high temperatures can make you slower and lack in energy. That is why you might find the lower temperatures of autumn more pleasant for your body, letting you out of the shades and into the sun again. However, this depends on where your hometown is located and the recent climate changes.
On the other hand, having the chance to see all those colorful leaves falling, crunching beneath your feet with every step you take and observing the birds in the sky, preparing to leave on a quest to find a warmer home, all that might sound poetic, but it warms up your soul. Just think of a situation where you walk in the park, and you notice a pile of leaves on the grass. You desperately want to jump on them, right? No matter how old you are, autumn awakens your inner child.
Well, up until now it should have been clear that spending your fall days at home is a wrong decision, having in mind all of the amazing stuff you can see and do outside, even if it means standing in the pouring rain, feeling the drops falling on your skin. Things like this make you feel alive, so don’t be ashamed to do them once in a while.
Autumn is also a perfect season to explore the natural wonders of the world, and we know just the places where you can see some jaw-dropping and stunning sights. If you decide to travel during this season, don’t miss out on the following locations:
A place you’ve rarely heard of, Yunnan is a province of the People’s Republic of China. Its capital is Kunming, formerly also known as Yunnan. If you haven’t even heard of it, be sure that it is worth visiting. When it comes to colors, shapes, and patterns, Yunnan’s nature is beautiful and striving to perfection. It is situated in a mountainous area, and it is popular for having the largest diversity of plant life in China. Its colorful rice terraces are something you don’t see every day.
Whichever part of Ireland you choose to visit during autumn, you won’t make a mistake. That is why there’s no city specified because they’re all recommended when it comes to enjoying the beauty of nature. Ireland is full of green areas and rich forests. It’s simply amazing!
Being in autumn in Colorado will make your heart want to sigh. The fascinating scenery that the landscape of Colorado offers you is a memory you will want to keep forever. From big, snowy mountains to beautiful desert lands and river canyons, this U.S. state has a tremendous geographic diversity.
Japan’s second largest island will make you not believe your own eyes. Pure perfection that is touching the Sea of Japan, the Sea of Okhotsk and the Pacific Ocean. It might seem a bit impossible to get there, but once you visit it – you will never want to leave!
Tirol is a federation state in western Austria. Its capital is Innsbruck, and the land is surrounded by many mountains, making Tirol a great destination for winter sports. However, before winter arrives, Tirol shines with the variety of its nature’s colors. But don’t worry, the fresh air will remind you to breathe again after the magnificent sights have taken your breath away.
Lake Geneva, Switzerland
Switzerland is pure magic! Wherever you choose to go, you will feel like in paradise. If you are a mountain person, I warmly suggest hiking in the Swiss Alps during autumn. You will come across many stunning nature scenes. However, if you feel like enjoying life at the point where ground and water touch, don’t doubt it – the Lake Geneva region will make you fall in love at first sight!
Take a drive on the road in the forest, surrounded by the enchanting, colorful trees, and you’ll wish the road never ends. Lake Ontario, the various green areas, and charming, tall trees are great to visit, especially in autumn. What’s so great about the woods in this Canadian commune is that when you go camping, they offer you a feeling of content much bigger than staying at a five star hotel.
This historic county located in South East England is a worldwide attraction, especially in autumn. People from around the globe, mostly photographers, come to visit this place that it looks like you are staring at a photoshopped desktop wallpaper. Yes, it is that perfect!
These places are just a reminder of how beautiful and incredible planet Earth can be. So many natural wonders and yet, even more, to be discovered, this world deserves to be treated nicely.
Many more places can be added to this list, but isn’t it better to pack your bags and go, explore the world through your own eyes?
