National Museum of the Pacific War

The National Museum of the Pacific War is an incredibly detailed and interactive museum, and many who have attended say it is worth your time to visit. Tickets are good for 48 hours since there is so much to see and do it is better to have more than one day to experience everything. The displays are for both children and adults, and there is something for everyone to see and do. The stories and shows are in chronological order, and most have reading material for those who, like to read, but there are also many photographs and other visual displays for those who would like to skip the text part and still understand what’s going on. The museum takes a part of history and turns in into a fun, interactive learning experience for all ages. It is one of the top “must-dos” in Fredericksburg, so don’t miss it!

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

The Enchanted Rock State Natural Area provided several miles of hiking. The view from the top of the rock is incredible, and the trails are not too crowded, making it perfect for a bit of scenic exercise. The trails can be a bit rocky for children, so it is best for adults. Restrooms are available for your convenience. Climbing the enchanted rock can be a bit challenging and tricky, but the view of the area from the top of the rock is fantastic, and many people claim this as their favorite Texas state park. Add this to your must-see list if you are in Fredericksburg.
