The Wat Chalong temple is no exception – this remarkable architectural piece is the most important of the 29 Buddhist temples of Phuket. It is located in Chalong Sub-district, and it holds a rich and amusing history, known to be dedicated to two monks who marked their importance in the fight against the Chinese rebellion and practiced herbal medicine.
